Each Jacadi shoe collection is specially adapted to the successive stages of foot growth and motor development. As your child learns to walk, run, and play, Jacadi shoes ensure elegance and comfort every step of the way.

PRE-WALKER COLLECTION FOR AGES 9 TO 13 MONTHS -
SIZES 17 TO 22

  • Once your baby is standing and has taken his first steps with your help, he is ready for his first pair of shoes.
  • Our pre-walker booties are made specifically for his developmental needs: thin soles and leather linings make them soft and comfortable. High-top constructions provide good foot support.
  • Be sure to measure your baby's feet every two-and-a-half to three months; at this partially ossified stage his feet are numb to pain caused by too-small shoes.

WALKER COLLECTION FOR AGES 12 to 24 MONTHS -

  • Once your baby is walking unassisted he is ready for our uniquely designed Walker Collection.
  • Our Walker styles are mostly high-top constructions to guide his steps, and are reinforced with padded support at the ankle.
  • Continue to measure your baby's feet every two-and-a-half to three months; his feet are still only partially ossified and numb to pain caused by too-small shoes.

CHILD COLLECTION FOR AGES 2 YEARS AND UP -

  • Jacadi footwear ensures your child grows with shoes that are comfortable, elegant, and adapted to his or her needs.
  • All of our styles feature natural leather linings for breathability and foot hygiene.
  • It's important to measure your child's foot every six months. At this age, children's feet grow approximately half an inch per year (2-3 shoe sizes). Shoes that are too small compress the toes and nails. In general, children's feet are not fully formed until age 15 for girls and 16 for boys.

  • All the styles feature natural leather linings to ensure breathability and foot hygiene.
  • In general girl's feet are not fully formed until age 15. It's important to measure her foot on a regular basis to verify the size or choice of a suitable style.

Naturally breathable materials

  • Our uppers and insoles are made entirely of leather and lined for breathable comfort.

Maintenance

Begin by brushing shoes vigorously to remove dust.

  • SMOOTH LEATHER

Apply polish or conditioning cream regularly with a soft, dry cloth. When dry, lightly buff for brilliant shine.

  • PATENT LEATHER & GLOSSED LEATHER

Use a damp cloth to gently remove streaks and scratches.

  • COWHIDE LEATHERS & NUBUCKS

Use a soft cloth to clean and remove scratches on the leather, then apply cowhide leather balm (with a touch of oil) to relubricate the surface.

  • TRADITIONAL NUBUCK OR SUEDE

Use a crepe brush to clean and straighten the leather fiber. A suede eraser removes small, localized scuffs and embedded stains.

Protection

  • WEATHERPROOFING

To protect smooth leather and nubuck (but not patent leather and glossy leather) from natural weather, apply waterproofing balm or spray after each cleaning and waxing.
